,Overview:

Among various goods and services essential to life in society, key highlights include the production of security documents such as citizen cards and passports, the minting of currency for circulation and collection, the authentication of precious metal artifacts, and more.
What will you do?
- Operate the PKI systems and other solutions under the unit’s responsibility on a daily basis;
- Monitor systems and respond to alerts generated by automated monitoring or reported by users;
- Perform defined periodic procedures (e.g. manual backups, backup tests, certificate rotations, PKI ceremonies);
- Participate in extraordinary PKI ceremonies (e.g. for problem resolution);
- Log events in systems, trigger and track the appropriate processes for handling them, performing predefined actions and involving the relevant teams as necessary;
- Respond to information requests and other support requests related to the systems under the unit's responsibility;
- Create and maintain operational documentation (procedures, manuals, knowledge base, service reports, etc.);
- Keep operational tools functioning well (e.g. documentation repositories, issue logs, monitoring tools);
- Identify potential risks to the normal operation of systems;
- Support system administration and software development teams in the continuous improvement of solutions, especially regarding operational effectiveness and efficiency;
- Contribute to the planning of operational activities and PKI ceremonies;
- Participate in periodic audits;
- Collaborate with other teams within the unit and the company;
- Professional experience in relevant roles for this function;
- Knowledge of data networks, helpdesk system administration, databases, or other types of software;
- Knowledge of cryptography and/or information security (e.g., ISO 27001);
- Motivation to work in high-security areas.
What are we looking for?
- Knowledge of IT, particularly in operating systems (preferably Linux);
- Ability to plan and report on own activities;
- Ability to execute predefined procedures and processes, with detailed activity logs;
- Good written and spoken communication skills in Portuguese and the ability to understand written English;
- Ability to interact with users and other stakeholders, and to handle high-pressure situations;
- Systematic approach to known situations and unforeseen events;
- Residence in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area for quick intervention needs, within one hour;
- Availability for on-site work to carry out activities/interventions;
- Availability for night shifts or work on holidays/weekends;
- Availability for occasional travel within Portugal if necessary;
- Criminal Record Check (for “Access to Restricted Areas”) and obtaining National Confidentiality Certification, if hired.
