Overview:

We are looking for a Devops Join an European financial institution represented in 9 countries. The company is specialised in consumer credit, payment solutions, insurance and banking services. It is a leading company in distance credit, has been in business for over 30 years and has more than 7 million customers.

What will you do?

Ensure the availability, scalability, and performance of on-premises IT systems, with a fleet of several hundred Windows and Linux servers
•    Continuously improve the IT infrastructure, including automation and monitoring
•    Ensure and promote the constant automation of system monitoring and maintenance processes (Performance, availability, Backups, patch management, capacity management, etc.)
•    Participate in projects to deploy new systems
•    Cooperate with system teams in the ideation of new infrastructures and architectures

What are we looking for?

•    Proven experience as a systems administrator
•    Advanced knowledge of Windows and Linux systems
•    Experience in scripting, preferably Powershell and Python
•    Experience with monitoring tools such as SCOM, Zabbix, or Prometheus
•    Experience in database management, with SQL Server and PostgreSQL
•    Knowledge in virtualization, with VMware
•    Knowledge in storage, such as SAN or NAS
•    Solid knowledge of networks and security, such as firewalls and VPN
•    Good communication skills and teamwork ability

Nice to have:

•    Experience with other programming languages (C#, Outsystems)
•    Knowledge of non-relational databases
•    Knowledge of the RASA framework for creating virtual assistants
•    Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
