Overview:
The mission consists to ensure the usual projects activity within Finance Implementation Projects Portugal department of Finance function of the group. Within the department “Chief Operating Office – Finance Solutions Office” in charge of the implementation of an harmonized Finance Operating Model across the group, the “Finance Implementation Projects Portugal” unit is a part of the “Finance Implementation Projects” (FIP) unit located in Paris.
In a close and strong collaboration within FIP projects team, the FIP Business Analysts and FIP systems analysts (IT solutions designers) operate in order to :
• ensure the projects of the roll-out of the One Financial System (OFS general ledger), in line with the global strategy of the Finance function;
• design, develop and implement the financial interfaces between the operating systems of Businesses and the Finance systems;
• ensure the implementation of the remediation plans applicable to financial interfaces.
So, FIP Business Analyst handle the functional solutions of financial interfaces, that feed the main reporting streams (financial accounting, management accounting, liquidity and credit risk).
The profile of FIP Business Analyst is business analyst :
- N2 experienced or N3 senior or N4 expert (3 years of overall professional experience in relevant area : banking or accounting or finance areas)
- Master's degree in Accounting / Finance
FIP Systems analysts (IT solutions designers) in collaboration with FIP Business Analysts handle the technical solutions of financial interfaces.
FIP unit operates for the entire group
FIP Portugal unit is organized in 3 main teams in charge of the projects according to their functional perimeters:
- FIP Capital Markets products
- FIP Banking Products for Corporate Banking
- FIP Banking Products for Retail Banking
The profile of FIP System Analyst (or IT Solutions designer) is developer analyst and/or tester :
- N2 experienced or N3 senior or N4 expert (3 years of overall professional experience in relevant area : banking or accounting or finance areas)
- Master's degree in Information Systems / Engineering / Accounting / Finance
What will you do?
- Contributing on project management.
- Work in cooperation with the FIP project managers in the different phases of projects. This collaboration is usual daily.
- Respect the methodology of project management shared by FIP Paris
- Respect the projects milestones and the related budget
- Contribute to the definition of a workaround solution with the project team face to any issue impacting the critical path of the project and its budget
- Produce regular project status to share with FIP project manager and FIP team leader
- Participate to project committees by sharing actions/decisions status under FIP responsibility, taking, or coordinating actions linked to FIP Portugal
- Performing functional/technical specifications and implementation of projects.
- Define the operational and accounting schemes and the framework of controls based on the first global need expressed by FIP project manager in context of a pre study (for Business analyst)
- Define also the structure of data flows with the necessary information to feed finance systems (for Business analyst and Systems analyst)
- Document the functional/technical specifications of the solution to be set up by other teams such as operating systems IT, Financial IT systems, FIP Engineering for parametrization in the accounting interpreter (for Business analyst and Systems analyst)
- Coordinate the tasks and actions from the different stakeholders by ensuring the time to market of the delivery
- Set up evolution of chart of accounts if necessary for the solution adopted (for Business analyst)
- Set up evolution of accounting interpreter for the solution adopted (for Systems analyst)
- Contribute to the testing strategy to ensure the quality of the implementation of the project
- Carry out all accounting and reporting test phases under direct responsibility of FIP
- Ensure an aftercare support for reporting users
- Ensuring support and maintenance activity on a scope of accounting interfaces.
- Manage the related requests in project mode according to the priority defined by FIP team leaders
- Testing.
