Overview:

The leading bank in the European Union and a leading international player is seeking a Technical Expert Developer responsible for the design, development, modernization and maintenance of enterprise applications within the Banking and Financial Services environment. The role requires strong expertise in Full Stack Development, Service-Oriented Architectures, REST APIs, Microservices, and Cloud technologies. The consultant will actively participate in the migration of Java applications to Cloud environments, contribute to the evolution of digital mobility solutions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

What will you do?

• Analyze and assess legacy applications and define modernization strategies
• Develop and implement solutions using Vue JS, Java, JSF, Spring Boot, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes and Cloud technologies
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting and optimization of implemented applications
• Ensure software delivery according to internal standards, including testing, CI/CD and application integration processes
• Participate in cloud migration initiatives and application modernization projects
• Contribute to the design and implementation of REST APIs and SOA components
• Promote a collaborative working environment and contribute with innovative ideas and development best practices
• Support technical decision-making and knowledge sharing within the team

What are we looking for?

• 8 to 15 years of professional experience in software development environments
• Strong experience in Full Stack Development using Java-based technologies
• Proven experience with Cloud migration projects and modern application architectures
• Strong expertise in Microservices, REST APIs and Service-Oriented Architectures
• Experience in Banking and/or Financial Services environments is highly valued
• Ability to work in Agile environments and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience in Java Frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, JUnit) and Data Structures
• Experience in SOA Programming, SOAP Web Services, Microservices and RESTful APIs
• Experience in Web Application Development using JSF, PrimeFaces and Vue JS
• Experience in Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Experience in Development Tools: JBoss EAP, JBoss, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab and SonarQube
• Experience in Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in Cloud Application Development and Migration
• Experience in CI/CD Practices and Application Integration
• Experience in Banking and Financial Services Functional Knowledge
• Fluent in English
