Overview:

The role of IT Ops falls within the context of an Agile and DevOps approach. She/he acts as the guarantor of Production throughout the project cycle. He/she is a key player in taking production requirements into account contribution to the definition of the technical solution, the stability of the technical environments (Production/non-Production), the monitoring and supervision of the technical solutions. He/she participates in project team meetings and is involved in activities and collective decisions (assessment of complexity, risks, etc.) throughout the project. He/she identifies good application production practices in collaboration with the Application Production Support and shares them widely. 

What will you do?

  • Participating in the definition of the technical solution
  • Integrating the production and infrastructure requirements in the scoping and in the product backlog
  • Ensuring the upskilling of the Product/Project team on application production best practices
  • Ensuring the provision of Production and infrastructure resources by facilitating the deployment of solutions
  • Liaising with Production Support Applications to implement monitoring and facilitate service supervision
  • Contributing to maintaining the services in operational condition
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of Production (Automation, performance improvement, etc.)

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience.
  • Experience with IT Infrastructure.
  • Experience with Production Operation Steering.
  • Experience with IT Risk and Cyber Security.
  • Ability to develop and adapt a process.
  • Ability to define relevant performance indicatiors.
  • Ability to manage a project.
  • Mastering of the new technological stacks (Elastic Search, Grafana, Dynatrace …) for the service monitoring, with an understanding of the DevOps chain (Gitlab, Artifactory, Jenkins, SonarQube, Mattermost, Ansible, …)
  • Knowledge Linux and Windows system
  • Mastering DevOps and Docker, Kubernetes and Openshift.
  • Knowledge about Helm.
  • English language.
  • French language (optional).
  • Ability to travel outside of Portugal.
